4-star mountain inn in Dillard, GA with a 100-year tradition of family-style dining

Dining

The Dillard House Restaurant continues an all-but-lost tradition of inns preparing a set meal daily and serving it family-style to all customers. The meal is listed on a board when guests walk in, and they receive unlimited servings of that day's offerings, including fried chicken, catfish, macaroni and cheese, creamed corn, cabbage casserole, broccoli, coleslaw, lima beans, and apple betty. The dining room reopened after a full renovation that added a bar and lounge area with a fireplace.

Amenities and Grounds

The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a restaurant on site. Guests can enjoy a bonfire with s'mores on Saturday nights. The property has horses, goats, and a longhorn, and the stable operation provides horseback riding.

Rooms

Every room is equipped with a wardrobe, a private bathroom, and air conditioning, with selected rooms including a terrace. The hotel has non-smoking rooms throughout. The accommodations are located in buildings that were built in the 1950s, and the property is currently undergoing major renovations to fully modernize them.

The Dillard House is located in Dillard, Georgia, in the Smoky Mountains. Tallulah Falls is 25 minutes south of the hotel. Asheville Regional Airport is 118 km away.
